In 2005, I started to explore the experience of getting physically inside the painting by means of entering my figure into the canvas while the texture was still humid. In this way, a very physical and individual statement was made. I worked the features that attracted me the most in a more defined way, not necessarily to show the stereotype of a human figure, but a form with human and spiritual traces – a silhouette from the subconscious.

“En el 2005 comenzé a experimentar el entrar físicamente dentro de la obra mientras la textura estaba todavia húmeda para establecer una presencia individual y física. Luego acentuaba los rasgos que más me atraían, no con el interés de formar una figura humana conocida, sino mas bien una forma relacionada al subconciente que reflejara rasgos humanos y espirituales.
